Howzabout this then - for £ 299

Laptop style dvd player 5 inch flip-up screen, CD walkman size, great quality. (7 inch also here)

Use it in your car on the dash with no worries about whether it'll need to be wired correctly to work while moving, cigar lighter or battery powered. Or use it at home or on your desk at work, it says on the website.

Oh yeah count me in for the silver jobbie looks nice don't like the black one though TBH

And Luke the only way I reckon you are going to find one of these units with this spec for £40 is to start using the force pfffft

Johnny, in Lukes defence, the original post (before it was edited) didnt mention in-car, it just said DVD player and these can be bought from asda for that price, initially £130 looked a lot of cash.
Since then however, the words in-car have been added and we see the deal becomes more desireable.
Hope this clears up the matter.
btw, the silver one looks sweet and the black one looks fisher-price

Black one doesnt look as good as the silver one, but if you mounted it in the glovebox you A) wouldnt see it and B) wouldnt give a **** at that price

mate if you have not bought them yet go to ebay i paid £77 but now for my next base in car dvd player with all the functions of the upgrade one you said about with warrenty and i got in dash lcd tft monitor for £100 buy now, and 2 7.5inch wide screen monitors for £80 buy now, all very good brand new in box with warrenty most of my mates are buying then too as very happy with mine.

p.s sorry if you have bought them and trying to make sale on here,

im interested with head unit plus the screen,
Can it play while the car is moving though ? as some of them wont play when movement is happening.
