Just been given a pair of 6'9 speakers as the previous owner no longer needs them. After looking at the back shelf (the car's a uk spec wrx 51 plate) it seems that there is no chance of fitting them in the holes beneath the shelf. Has anyone managed to do this - or has anyone managed to modify/cut the frame beneth the shelf?

Thanks

Further to the above note - how do you remove the double-din head unit that comes in the car??

Thanks again!

Try using the "search" function on this website (near top right-hand corner) as much has been written about this subject, or take a look at the ICE section of this site as I know that people have asked very similar questions over the last couple of days.

Hi pippy, if you try http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/thread.asp?ThreadID=246342
Sorry dont know how to do a clicky thing. This should help with the speakers part. And if you have any other questions put them in the ice section, and someone called chiark who is a moderator will probably help you, he seems really good, and definitely knows his stuff. Hope this helps
