true, I was a tad harsh... I've discounted that location for a screen as it's not the most practical - but my screen is touchscreen too...

i think its a very good place for the satnav screen, it did this albeit a bit more makeshift by storing a screen in the centre glove box and then using a bit of velcro to secure it in place on opening - very good place to minimise driver distraction because you don't have to look down and take your eyes off the road, and the screen was set back enough so as to not distract the road view at all. i might make this a bit more permanent and fibreglass a screen into the centre build rather than have it folding out quite low down in the normal place.
