Question

I've seen an advertisement in the back of M** Pow** for a new Clarion head unit (Double Din) that looks the bollox. Metalic finish, slide out screen, costs about £700, I think the model number is C66000 (or something). Does anyone know if it will fit the double din space in a version V?

Cheers

Dave

It ought to - Addzest which is the standard on most imports is the domestic name for Clarion. If you look at the typeface on the front, model numbers etc. you will see they are identical.

Dave,

The Clarion unit is the ADX5655Rz and I sell it for £425 including VAT - A bit cheaper than £700 - a bargain in fact !

Ian,

you can't recommend anything other then what you've installed. I've installed several of the Sony's now and they are very well featured, sound good and are the best value. It is used as standard in the new MR2 and the Avensis as well to add further credibility. The clarion unit is not yet available and the Pioneer unit is another "new kid on the block" so we don't know if's any good yet. Best to stay with the tried & tested in my opinion. You can also have MD or CD with the Sony or have both with THE DJ-MXC30MK2 PACKAGE.

Got a question for you, Nick. I've just had a changer mounted in my boot (floor) and it skips like mad. Someone's suggested mounting it to the metal shelf underneath the parcel shelf. Reckon that'll cure it?
