Audiophiles please help.
Done the search thing, read the posts.
Wanted Focals, but obviously a no-go without doorbuilds.
So looks like infinity, but which ones??
Are the Kappa 605cs's worth the extra £65.00 over the reference 605cs's

I was told the kappa's require a lot of driving so are only really an option if using with a good amplifier, ie not the head unit. I run the Reference 605 cs's off my Blaupunkt head unit and are good, bit bright but generally Ok.

Damn shame about the focals.

Thanks for the reply pbee.
I think that it will have to be the reference's then, I do not want the additional hassle of another amp for the front speakers.

I've just fitted the 6000CS, in my MY02 and 4002i in the rear.

They sound pretty good, with x-over set at -3dB, but as you may have seen from my recent threads I'm having trouble with the "vibrations" on the plastic sheet.

Therefore, I recommend you put plenty of damping materials etc.. in.
