I had the Kenwood KRC777R head unit in my previous car, and would now like to install into my newly imported WRX.
Has anyone else fitted this unit in there own WRX ?
I'm wondering how you managed it ?
The actual unit fits within the dash, but the surround that covers the MASK mechanism does not. Therefore doesnt look to good.
Any assistance would be appreciated..

Sorry to give the bad news, but that's the way it fits into a dash for a Jap car!!

 

have exactly the same model radio in my old merc and have just fit that in to my 96 wrx no problems: reply six years late but hey it can be done
