Unhappy

Ok...... Impulsive me got a CD headunit fitted...nice Kenwood M6024.. all done in Woking at SK Radio.

On the way back when the engine is running there is buzzing coming through with all the radio channels...

Things I've tried but its still there...

Pulled the aerial right up
Turned off the fan/aircon
Lights on and off

Only thing ihaven't checked is the Defi gauge/controller & AFR meter just below the ash tray...

Any advice before I go back and ask for help

Cheers

J

What's the buzzing like? Is it constant pitch, or does it vary with engine revs?

Is the radio still there behind the buzzing, or is there just noise?

John.

I have a Kenwood 8080r , this unit has a little METAL box coming form the back of it, if this touches ground it make an awful racket on the radio. Just a thought.

Had this on an Infinity amp, checked all the wiring etc then changed the amp and it went, maybe worth sticking another headunit in to test.
