I am selling my MY98 which currently has a Pioneer head unit(KEH-P6600RS. the type where the front flips down to reveal the cassette slot) and a 12 CD Pioneer shuttle (model CDX-P1230S).

I can remove the head unit OK and can probably remove the shuttle itself too. But what about the wiring. The new car I want it to go into is an STI8. Does the STI8 already have wiring going into the boot(for the shuttle) and will I be able to connect any wiring to my existing shuttle(either with or without an adaptor)?

If there isn't any wiring to the boot in the STI8, how easy is it to get the wiring and connectors etc to connect the head unit to the shuttle(I don't want to take the wiring out of the existing car).

thanks from
Paul G

why Panasonic (the kit is Pioneer), or is the standard kit in STI8's made by Panasonic

The main thing I want to know is is there already wiring in place to the boot(even if its not for Pioneer as I'm sure there must be adaptors out there).
