Hi, I saw a few of your posts recommending some focals....which ones do you reckon I should go for ? It's gonna be either Infinity Reference 605CS components, or a set of Focal components....which do you reckon are best and do you know if the Focals produce a bit more bass than the infinitys?

Struggled to find anywhere who sells Focals as well though!

Don't know the model number, but I *think* its the access 165 set which are around 120 quid. Halfords supply, and there's other on-line sources.

I personally prefer them to the infinity, and the Focals certainly can produce bass. The infinity set is good too, but I find the smoother sound of the focals more to my liking as the infinity is definitely a little on the bright side.

Don't just take my advice though, try to listen to both first. You might very well prefer a brighter setup to me, as there's no "right" or "wrong" with sound. It's all down to personal preference.
