At the gym at lunchtime today & some kind and considerate C*** stole my 3 day old Alpine faceplate out of my kit bag!!!
Looking into whether its covered on the home insurance at present, but assuming its not, anyone know the best place to get a new faceplate!
Sooooooooo cross right now (whats the icon for absolutely fuming!!)

Probably from Alpine but it will cost a fortune, they're delibarately priced high to make it uneconomical to buy replacements for nicked units
You'll also need the proof of purchase etc...

possible, and maybe I jumped to the wrong conclusion in my frustration, but would have thought I'd hear it fall out as they are fairly heavy faceplates, anyhow, all sorted now

Fantastic, especially as it's "run in" now. 1090 miles... Also, it's had the side bits colour coded, and I've put protection strips on it.
My father is rather disbelieving that I'm going to strip the interior out for the sake of the stereo, but it'll happen soon

yes, mine was officially "run in" today, so the loud pedal is getting some action at last!
Changed the headunit, fitted SECS and the CDT's so far, got a boot build in the planning stages..

HD62s going in front and CL51s in the rear ASAP. Need to spend time doing this though, as I don't intend doing anything less than a wonderful job on every aspect of this.
Loud pedal is very, very addictive. Think I might have a PPP sometime
