recommendations of places that sell decent wiring and connectors, splitters fuse holders etc but at very reasonable prices.

Maplins is good prices but have been told that the connector blocks etc rust!!!!

If you want to stop connectors rusting, disolve some lanolin (an extract from sheeps wool, I believe) in white spirit and paint it onto the connectors.

It sounds daft, but works extremely well.
