If i can fit it anyone can, it took my 5 mins to get the head unit out and 5 mins to put back together,

Anyone knows if the standard Double DIN headunit fitted to STI8 has PREOUT RCA connectors?

I would like to keep the standard headunit and fit new speakers and a power amp.

Nope it dont look like it





This was removed from my STi8 PPP as soon as i got it home!! and replaced with a Kenwood Z838W and a PSi3 S.E.C.S ECU monitor

Can I ask how hard a PSI3 is to fit????

Do you need specialist knowledge????

 

I was also thinking about keeping the standard headunit and upgrading the speakers. Do you think that the headunit would be up to the job ?

I have a good Pioneer headunit and amps but don't know if I can be arsed putting the car into get this fitted, too paranoid the scratch/damage it.
