Can't see any problem myself. Just make sure the sub is well bolted to the floor.

A number of companys already do this, I've seen a few in my local ICE shop and as you say saves space and less holes!

This is pretty common for the erm cheaper end of the market. The vibrations should not affect the amp at all.....

I did this a few years ago with a small kenwood amp. the vibrations of the sub caused the screws to come loose, so i'd advise that you use some sort fo threadlock or rubber sealant. i wouldn't worry about the amp itself though, just make sure the box is held down.

You wont have any problems as long as you make sure the fins on the amp are vertical.

If they are not you could overheat you amp!

When they are vertical the heat rises and intern keeps your amp cooler.

When horizontal the heat rises and gradually heats the amp up, fin by fin!

Then again it all depends on what Amp your going to get, some have fans built in so it doesn't matter which way they face as long as there is air available to keep it cool.

The saint is, strictly speaking, right. However, none of my amps have ever been mounted horizontally, so I wouldn't worry too much

Just don't mount 'em upside down!!!!
