Right. Just got my MY99 DBM 4dr with AirCon.

Where the hell do I feed my amp's power from (from the battery - obviously!!)

As I've got Air-Con, there are NO grommets to get the cable into the the bl00dy car .

Any ideas? And NO - I'm not keen on drilling through the bulkhead

There are also no obvious feeds on wither the driver's side or passenger side.....

I'm stuck

Answers on a postcard

Use the passenger side, and use the same grommet as used for aircon - that's what I've done

Scoobydoo,

You cannot miss it, it's where all the wires go through. The only tricky bit is finding it the other end. You need to be double jointed to get your hand and head up behind the fan unit behind the glove box

Yes guys, found it

Have you lot fed into the grommet with the other cables (bit of a tight fit by the looks of it) or have you just fed the cable through a new hole in the grommet?

Obviously, gotta be careful if putting in a new hole!!!

Yer, I fed mine through with the rest of the wires. The wire I used is quite stiff so it was easy to push through.

Did mine thru the same grommet, its tight, if you struggle put a little fairy liquid on the grommet, should then pull thru, tho you will need to be giving it a good old tug ooer

Dan,

Remove the aircon pipe and just poke the amp wire through. Then simply refit the aircon pipe. There's bags of room.

I've some pics on my website under the Cars -> ICE.
