I've got a MY00 turbo. It's got the stock head unit, and the dealer fitted a cd changer as part of the deal - I'm sure he said it was a Sony changer. I've now found out that the head unit is terrible, so I want to upgrade that whilst keeping the new changer box.

Will this fit to any Sony head unit, or is it a special changer to fit the Phillips rubbish that's in my car!!

Always used Alpine kit in previous cars, but could do with keeping my costs low for this car. I'm considering some Alpine component speakers/tweeters for the front and upgrading the back if I feel it's necessary. I'm not interested in subs - just getting reasonable quality, at a sensible volume!
