HI, have got a Blaupunkt RCM303 installed, and the amp has options for either stereo or "quadro sound". Regarding things like soundstages, should I use the amp to power the Front speakers, or should I now invest in a pair of rear speakers that will provide a lot of bass, and use the quadro option? The amp also has a sub-out connector, so I will eventually be getting a sub installed as well!

Many Thanks

ragnarock,

I'm not an expert in ICE but I would not worry about your rear speakers at all as they will just provider some fill in sound. Concentrate on a good high quality set of front component speakers. As you've mentioned you'll be getting a sub for bass anyway so why not spend some money on high end front components as these are the ones that will be closest to your ears.

If you intend running a sub there's no need for amped up rear speakers as it'll just drag the sound stage backwards.

I have got some rocky Foz components up front and they sound the business (I unplugged the standard rear speakers as they sounded poo!) I am happy with the install at the mo, but as I listen stuff like the chili peppers, I want something that will accentuate those funky bass lines!
