REAR SPEAKERS HOW MUCH SHOULD I SPEND ?
#2
Mark, look at the reason they went pop or the next set'll go pop again!
My guess is that you're using a small power amp to drive them too loud, causing them to receive a clipped signal. This'll knacker any speaker.
If you were using a beefy amp, then they'll have gone pop because you gave them too much power for the suspension that you'd provided (ie none unless you'd boxed 'em).
Boston are a quality brand in my experience, so I'm surprised they've gone. Have you taken 'em back to the place you bought them from for a diagnosis?
Cheers,
Nick.
