I've got a couple of Alpine free air sub-woofers and I wondering if they would still work okay if I mount them in a box?

Any help, much appreciated.
Andy.

They'll be designed for "infinite baffle" use, meaning that you just need to isolate the front of the speaker from the back of the speaker. Boxing should improve the bass response.

If you can find the Thiele-Small (TS) parameters for the speakers, you can model a box in one of many programs available on the net and it'll give you an optimum box size to aim for.

Like the ICE website too, know how to take the front door facia off now.

Cheers.
Andy.
