Hope you all well. I am slowly, but surely improving the ICE in my 94WRX. Just had JBL 6x9's put in the back, and Dynamtted the front doors. WAHAY ! Perfect for me !

Moving on,I would be very grateful if people could let me know about DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) units.

Has anyone got one? I listened to a Pioneer one last week and it was the absolute biz!

Have pioneer multimedia system in my car and thought about dab for a while.

only a few concerns,

already have analogue radio and tv aerials on car, not sure I want to drill another hole, although the aeral is a mini beesting.

Quality is awesome plus features etc. V impressive. Not all channels on there and they are not set to be for some time.

Realised that I dont actully listen to the radio that much and am waiting for DVD.

£I can get DAB added for around £350 which is well down on market price but then that is just for better quality on some radio stations that I already have. I wouldn't spend that much on a decent radio for my home hi fi which is far more important to me.

If you can justify the cost then go for it, but at the moment I think it is gimmick value. Give it a couple of years and it will all be much cheaper.

 

Surely, someone else must have some views or has got a DAB unit??!
