If you look at the full picture of the inside of my door (on my website - link above),you'll see how I did it.
I used an old pc blanking plate (although any metal / strong thin plastic would do), and drilled a hole at both ends. One end fitted under the door handle bracket (just unscrewed, slit the metal underneath, then screwed it up again), and the other attached to the crossover (there are fixing holes in the tweeter case). Doing this, you can quite easily get the crossover box fittted / suspended in the large hole at the rear bottom of the door. Just make sure you fit it on the interior side of the plastic to eliminate any chance of it getting wet.
Oh, and I know the link is the same. I wrote that bit on chiarks site

Can anybody give me some advice please?
Had a look at the excellent link below....
http://www.chiark.com/scooby/icetoc.asp?section=5&subsection=12
....which tells me how to fit the woofer. What about tweeters? Are they easy to do?

Thought it may be something like that technical like that
Any more tips on getting the door trims off? I've broken the plastic studs off in the past. When Autoglass repaired a window I noticed they had a special tool, shaped like a fork for the job.
Fingers crossed it goes OK when I start ripping my pride and joy to bits :O

Nigel,
The tweeters will fit on the original mounts in MY01 - you will need a short nut & bolt to attach the infinity mount to the Subaru bracket. From memory, after you've removed the original tweeter, you'll also need to bend a prong on the bracket 90 degrees so it's flat.
I knew I'd got one somewhere! there's a very rough FAQ at : http://homepage.ntlworld.com/c.warbu...a/605-FAQ.html there's one or two things that aren't on Chiarks excellent site - including tweeters. And one or two things that I am truly ashamed of!
Cheers
Chris

Nigel, as Chris says, the tweeters should fit on the existing bracket. Simply unscrew the old one, and screw the new one on, (I used a small nut/bolt to fix it to the bracket). You can see a picture of mine installed at http://www.iainbyoung.co.uk/myscooby.htm

Iain,
Thanks for the link - it's actually the same as Chiark's
Where did you fit the cross over boxes? Chris (in his previous post), said to fit them in the door pockets. Is this what you did?

It just hangs there and doesn't push the plastic back. Luckily, the door panel bulges out at that point, so the crossover sits in there nicely. No rattles or problems so far, I've done about 8000 miles since putting it in there...
