Alpine units
Some do, certainly the higher powered units (i.e. the 60Wx4 peak ones) do. The unit I have, a CTA-1505R with 55Wx4 peak, was the first Alpine unit to require this AFAIK.
Not difficult to do although it does mean the installation isn't plug 'n' play like it usually is. I'm only using the internal amps to drive rear speakers for fill so could probably have got away with using the exisiting power from the ISO plug but this isn't a good practice.
