Thumbs up

Just had a pair of these beauties fitted into my MY00 and it sounds terrific - the sound staging is brilliant. A couple of 10" subs + a 300W amp in the boot round it off nicely - now it's got the sounds to match the looks and go.

Anyone else used these in theirs?

Sorry, mix-up - got Rockford Fosgates at the front, my old Pioneers in the rear shelf, and some proprietary subs in the boot.

Phoenix gold, more my choice.

How can you get staging from subs? Are they all you have fitted or are there some quality front speakers as well.

I already have my heart and wallet firmly on the Punch. I'm toying with ~150Watt front and back amps, front driving all speakers apart from sub, back driving sub only. My Pioneer head unit has HPF (Hi-pass filter) and Sub out, so no x-overs will be required . Not sure which speakers to put on the shelf (I got a 4dr) or what type of bass sump. Any ideas? Base this around the Punch amps, but I will be adding those last.

PS I got JBL's in the front. Nice!
