Speaker size 2008 hatch

Looking at replacing front components. Seen the pre-made adaptors take a 130mm speaker. Can you fit 165mm if you make your own adaptors?

You can buy pre-made adapters for 165mm as well.
Have them in my '09 hatch currently.
