Was outside until darkness came, must have been almost 2 hours trying to get it all to line up and still no joy

What am I doing wrong? I have removed the brackets from the original double din, attached them to my single din and before even putting the undertray in the surround wont go back on? Its like something is stopping it from clicking back in?

This has really done my head in!

Right, had a real blonde moment now sorted! I was taking the stereo out of my bugeye to put in my blobeye and I did not realise the adapter plates that sit either side of the headunit to allow fitting are different. So without changing them I just swapped stereos and this was the reason for incorrect fitting. Like I said all sorted now!
