Default Head Unit for Impreza 2010 Hatch

My first post so be gentle.....
Back on the Impreza's again and picking up my 2010 in a weeks time.

Head unit - i want to upgrade the standard fitted unit but i would like the steering controls and anything else still to work how they should (is there a display or computer to worry about?)
What should i look out for? Pit falls?

Don't want a cheap one - got around £500 to spend but around £100 of that will be on speakers.

Your thoughts please

I got a JVC double din in my hatch, I had to buy a new surround (from scoobynet) so it didn't leave it gap and all the wiring from Car Audio Centre for the steering wheeling.

Pioneer F960BT is a good unit.

Look on Car Audio Direct you can get the unit and all the adaptors so the steering wheel controls and the facia remains tidy.

https://www.scoobynet.com/ice-2/1018...endations.html

That lists what I used to fit my radio into my hatch

Will I require a fascia kit, I would like it to look OEM
Speakers - think I'll do the blind test for those hopefully running off the chosen HU.

Just four days now before I collect.......
