Default Android based Unit with Sim card?
Looking to kit out my weekend warrior with a nice head unit that is Android driven and can use a sim card for apps / streaming (music) as per an Android phone, anyone know of a suitable unit that will fit a 2002 STI Bugeye? If it can be used in tether mode even better.

Have a google for 'nexus 7 headunit conversion', that sounds like the best way to do what your after.
