I'm going to replace my stock speakers with something new in the search of a bit of extra quality, however I don't need a big / expensive install and I don't have my music loud. I'm also not really interested in having a separate amp powering extra speakers, although in the future I might buy a better head unit..

Will the OEM head unit power the JBL CS-6c components, and is a basic set of components the correct choice?

Not sure as there 50w rms. i would say it will but if i remember the stock radio is not that loud

 

It will but you won't get the full benefit out of them, when you buy another head unit make sure the rms is no more than 45w per channel though
