My front speakers have had to be replaced as water was seeping into the drivers door and the speaker was starting to rust. anyone had similar problems or solutions.

Some form of water protection is necessary - something like the standard water shields found on the back of the original speakers...

Doors are designed to "leak", believe it or not

Dave,

Do you have any pics of your install? It looks like Skidz will be working on my car too and I'd like to get an idea of what they can do.

I used to have the same problem when I installed my 605cs speakers in my MY98. I got some foam baffles from Crutchfield and they protect the speakers from water etc. Works very well.
