Smile Aero Catches

Hello all,

I've spoken with Aero Catches themselves about organising a group buy for us all after hearing how people have unintentionally been miss sold fakes or bought cheap copies.

I spoke with Graham who stated that he could only deal with trade customers. However, he's put me through to Steve at Sabelt.

Steve is more than happy to help us but needs an idea of numbers before he can start offering prices. He has suggested that if the GB is successful he may be able to help us out with some more of his products.

There are 3 main type of catches which are either lockable or non lockable. More details can be found here

http://www.aerocatch.com/?gclid=CPTS...FW_HtAodUScAKQ

What i need at the moment is a list of people that are interested in the product and then i will get prices from Sabelt ASAP.

I have searched on here and it doesn't appear that any of the traders are selling them, if they are i am sorry and i don't want to tread on your toes.

Please make your list below.

P.s i'll be forwarding the link to Sabelt and Aero Catches for their info.

I'm sure we'll be able to get them cheaper than retail and at least we'll know they're not copies. I'll start the list but this won't commit you / anyone until i hear back from Sabelt once i pass them the numbers after a couple of weeks.

I'd be interested in a couple of sets for my track car if the price is good.

Ive had a quick look at the website. Perhaps im missing something here but, the difference between aerocatch 1 and 2 is that the 2 series fits from underneath the bonnet and is flush whereas the 1 series fits from above?

Am I right?

Looks to me like catch 1 locks to a bonnet pin located near the centre of the catch, & catch 2 has a rod poking out of the front to lock to a bonnet pin fitted in front of the catch.
May be wrong but catch 1 looks like the one I'll be going for

I'd be interested in the 'Aerocatch Plus Flush Locking' if available.

They'll all be available mate as they're coming from aero catch themselves via sabelt. Add your name to the list and actually what you want.

I had to get interest first unfortunately. I've been doing a little research and it appears there are quite a lot of fakes about.

The more genuine suppliers like demon tweaks are selling the non lockable ones for just under £50.

Add your names to the list and ill give him a call tomorrow to see if he can come up with a sum I.e 10+ = 10% off plus free shipping etc

Will do. I think the latest kits come with them. I've sent them a link to this thread so hopefully they'll be able to answer all questions.

On the aerocatch website it says their kits now come with fixing plates, so if they're getting them direct from them then they should come with them. Either way I want fixing plates
