Default Bob Rawle Mapping Group Buy

A continuation from my previous inquiry thread

The group buy mapping will be done by Bob Rawle

Full first time remap of the factory ecu would be £400 plus vat (typical normal retail £550 plus vat)

Remap of the factory ecu assuming it had been EcuTek mapped before (licence paid) would be £260 plus vat

Other ecu mapping such as Apexi, Link, Autronic, Motec, Syvecs, Simtek would be quoted as and when the questions are asked. Really it would depend on what was wanted, typically he would charge from about £280 plus vat to map an installed aftermarket ecu or to install and map a customer supplied ecu and we can discount that but the scope is not as great hence the need to understand what is required first.

If a group of people are in a specific location then he would be happy to travel to deal with that group, say three people as a minimum, if there are enough in one location he would also do more than one day to accommodate everyone. Depending on each car and its mods then he can do four cars in a day as a minimum.

Individuals traveling to him personally would also get the group buy cost if organised through the group buy

A £50 deposit would confirm a booking and will be made directly with Bob, he can take cash or plastic over the phone

Please add your names to the list with your vehicle details, what modifications you have done/planned and what level of performance you are aiming for and your location and ideal time window for the remap. I'll arrange it into groups/dates the best I can...

If you have a PPP ECU and you know for a fact its locked do you need any paper proof you have an Ecuteck License?

If you mean that having PPP gives you an Ecutek licence then I'm afraid your wrong, if on the other hand that your ECU has been remapped with an Ecutek licence on it then that will be stored on the ECU.

HTH.

I know PPP were using Ecuteck at some point for thei ECU remap. My ECU is locked, I only heared of Ecuteck locking ECUs. I guess the mapper need to find out if its licensed.

Yes this is still running. It didn't generate much interest at first but if we can ghet enough people together in certain areas then I see no reason why this won't still go ahead

There will be no travel costs to add provided we can group enough people together by area

So please if interested add your names to the list above including the details as the others have previously

Thank you

Thanks,
