Smile CG-LOCK Group Buy

I have only read good reports on these safety belt locks on other forums and so contacted them to see if they would offer a Group Buy for us.

Here is a link to the home page

http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/app/performance/

The CG-Lock is a 5 minute fit onto a standard seatbelt and essentially holds the lap strap tight whilst still allowing movement with the diagonal part of the belt. The CG-Lock holds you tight in the seat, stopping you sliding during cornering and offering similar benefits of a full harness without the hassle. They sound essential equipment if doing a trackday with standard seatbelts.

There are plenty of videos, reviews and information on their website.
http://www.cg-lock.co.uk/app/performance/reviews/

We are being offered a discounted price of £32.00 each (delivered price)for upto 20 units against the rrp of £49.99 each. A bigger discount will be offered if we can get over 20 units in the Group Buy.
You can, of course, order more than one.

I was thinking of letting the Group Buy run for 2 weeks, ending 10th November.
Once the Group Buy is closed, we will be given a Group Buy Code that can be used to purchase the units off their website.

Add your names to the list if your interested.

I bought one of these through a GB on the FTO forum (but never got round to fitting it) and paid £37 so this is a good price

I had one of these fitted to my car, completely ruined my seat belt on my focus.... MOT failure, new seatbelt needed which cost me an arm and a leg.

Although when i had the CG Lock fitted, it worked great, held you in nicely, but just ruined my seatbelt in the end (made it fray)

Molbyman.......... In your opening post you've said that the price of £32 is for up to 20 units. I take it that if there are less than 20 takers we'll still get them at £32?

Cheers.

Mine worked great while it lasted - spring kept popping out so it wouldn't lock properly after about 2 months. Good price though.

Bad news I'm afraid............

Sorry I've not got back to you sooner. I have some bad news! We are again out of stock (due to the STIG/Ben Collins/CG-Lock link).
I hope to have more in beginning of December... and of course will alert you when they arrive.....
Apologies again for the bad news and I'm sure your hard work wont be in vein... just delayed!

I will update everyone once I have some new news.

I emailed CG Lock and today received a reply. They are hoping to get enough stock to meet the current and future demand in about 3 weeks time. So it's all still on, just delayed somewhat.
