I was so very close to hitting the 'order' button on one of these and the brake stopper, but can you confirm if you do the polished version of the gear **** above for Subaru fitment? It's only listed with an M10 Honda fitment on your website. Thanks!

i'm not sure how the newage gear ***** are fitted, they should be screwed. can anyone confirm? otherwise i'll check in the morning, also as the reverse gear is lift up.. is this affected with the raise? as the mechanism is below the actual gearknob.

interested in both this and the bonnet raiser
cheers

hi i just checked my gearknob screws off and can be replaced however the reverse mechanism is as i thought, below the gearknob.. i take it with this extension.. it screws on top where the gear **** used to be and the gear **** goes ontop of the new extension? is this correct?

that means i wont be able to get reverse gear lol as it'll bebelow the extension..unless i find a new way of using the reverse leaver with the extension hmm.

I really like it. Seems a fair cost/quality product.

Brings the gear shift up closer to hand level, ergonomically it's nicer to use. Quite ironic to have the type R in the background as these have a higher gear shift on the dash too.

I can't think of anything negative at all. The wheel on mine sits further back pushing elbows into the back supports and the shift is straight ahead, rather than down.... If that makes sense. Less time one handed too.

It does exactly what I wanted it to do, which is the sign of a good mod IMO....and should Tegiwa wish to send me another for exclusivity on my photo that would be much appreciated

that does look good, seems an easy on/off mod so might test it, after all you rarely drive in reverse

just an update, these dont work with the 6speed newage STi's

they look spot on and work fine for the 5 gears but it wont let you go into reverse when on properly as the lift up lever doesnt move.. when the extension is loosened so that you can use the reverse lever, the gear **** is too wobbly / spins about.

so i decided against using it, also got my gear **** stuck on the extension lol and scratched the extension using mole grips to get it off..

either way, product is good but only works with the 5 speed boxes.

i guess my mate can use it on his classic lol

In conjunction with a short shifter this would be an awsome mod... I think its about to get added to my ever growing shopping list, lol

Every1 should buy 1 of these

ps: not that you'd need 1 in conjunction with this gear stick extension, but I'm now fitting a short shifter as I think it'd be even better with
