*BC COILOVER GROUP BUY*
I've started this on the P1WOC and seeing if anyone else wants some depending what price CPA can do on them as they are now dealing direct with BC.

Seems to be quite a lot of either interest in Coilovers or knocking shocks lately so perhaps a good time for a Group Buy on these:

Here’s what’s on offer –
Premium suspension systems
BC Racing is the own brand range of coilover kits from a large manufacturer of suspension products.
The mainstay of the manufacturer is producing units for a wide range of companies including a number of premium brands within the coilover market. The release of the BC Racing own brand gives end users the benefit of the knowledge, manufacturing processes and economies of scale of a large suspension manufacturer but at the prices which are more associated with the lower quality units cluttering the market at the moment.
Damper testing and matching
Damping adjustment allows you to fine tune your car to suit your needs and the cars intended use. Adjustment should always be made in axle pairs, so both fronts must be tuned the same and both rears must be tuned the same.
Decreasing front damping will speed up the weight transfer as you apply the cars brakes thus increasing front traction. You want some degree of weight transfer to occur to load up the front tyres to maximise braking ability and to help the front end hook up for corner entry. The front loading helps prevent under steer.
Such subtle tweaking of the damping rates can make a big difference to the way the car handles. Coilover and after market damper manufacturers run quality control system that can lead to a large variation in damper to damper performance. This means that you can have different damping rates at each corner of your car even when the dampers are dialled in to the same setting via their adjuster. Because damping settings are so crucial to a vehicles handling, this can lead to a handling imbalance where the car will pull slightly under braking and its turn in and mid corner handling characteristics can differ from left to right hand corners.
It’s because the damping rates are so crucial that BC Racing check each and every damper they produce on an in house damper dyno. The compression and rebound damping rates are recorded and the coilover kits are only put together using matched dampers. Through this in house individual checking BC Racing can be confident that the kits are produced with matching dampers. BC Racing run to a tolerance level 3 times more accurate than general original equipment manufacturers so the difference in damping rate between BC Racing units is a third of that aimed for by most original equipment manufacturers.
Straight replacement for original equipment
The BC Racing coilovers are a direct replacement for the original equipment. Unlike other brands of coilovers, the BC Racing range do not require brackets fabricating, cable ties or jubilee clips to install. The bottom mounts come with all brackets to take the original ABS sensor leads, brake lines, anti roll bar drop links etc. Just take off your original equipment suspension and install the BC Racing suspension. A straightforward and simple install.

The BR series coilovers use a large 44mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity. As the damper unit operates the oil contained within heats up. The viscosity of oil changes as its temperature varies which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit.
BC Racing only use a very high quality oil with their coilovers but go that extra mile to maximise performance and build their BR range with a large 53mm diameter damper body. This increases the capacity of the unit which increases the volume of oil contained which in turn reduces the peak temperature and so significantly improves damper performance.
RM SERIES - INVERTED DAMPER FOR PRO TRACK

The BC Racing RM series feature high quality damping adjustable monotube inverted dampers at the front or front and rear, depending on vehicle. The RM coilovers offer the majority of the features of the BR series but with the additional benefit of the inverted damper unit. Inverting the damper unit brings with it a number of advantages.
Unsprung weight is reduced by moving the oil and gas reservoir way from the hub and attaching it to the shell. Unsprung weight is vital to a cars performance as a lighter wheel and hub assembly which readily moves in response to road bumps will have more grip when tracking over an imperfect road.
ER SERIES - EXTERNAL RESERVOIR RACE TUNED COILOVERS

BC Racings ER Series with separate compression and rebound damping adjustment. The ER Series coilovers bring with them the high quality and unique features seen on the BR and RM type but have the additional benefit of external reservoirs and the ability to allow the end user to individually adjust and set compression and rebound damping rates.
External reservoir:
The external reservoir ER Series coilovers allow BC Racing to increase the oil capacity of the damper unit. The additional oil capacity reduces peak oil temperatures which decreases variations in damping rates due to oil viscosity changes. The reduction in damping rate variations improves handling and ultimate on road and track performance.
Optional upgrades:
Damper adjusting extenders – to save you the time and trouble of removing the parcel shelf each time you want to adjust the damping on your BC Racing coilovers we can offer pairs of adjuster extenders. These attach to the adjuster **** on the top of the coilover and are available in three lengths, 110mm, 200mm and 250mm. They attach in seconds with a simple grub screw design.
Assister spring perch – you might prefer to run some droop with your coilovers or maybe you want to alter the ride by adding an additional smaller assister spring. The spring perch and assister springs allows you to do this. The springs are available in a wide range of spring rates.
Pillowball top mount – some applications come with hardened rubber top mounts as standard to ensure the highest quality ride and keep costs as reasonable as possible for road use but we often offer a pillowball upgrade for these vehicles should you want to remove this flex and make the car a little more hardcore. Upgrading to pillowball eliminates the flex inherent in even the hardened rubber used by BR Racing so improving the handling for those looking for the ultimate.

sorry if you think that i am spaming but i have noticed that apex are offering there coilovers witch are identacal to the bc coilovers at £510 for the same as the br series thats if we get 10 people but we could ask him if we get 20+ if he will do more cheaper wot do you think many thanks stephenhttps://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...up-buy-12.html just to let you know that price sounds ok but cheaper the better

The only thing is, Bren will have a 10 week lead time... I'm willing to pay a bit more to have them now.
