Default Jolly Green Monster JGM Mapping, December, down south

Right ho folks.
I'm organising a group buy with the legendary Simon of Jolly Green Monster fame www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk
It will be in early to mid December to allow time for saving.
Options:
One day, 4 or 5 cars, either at Subaru4you (Subaru4you - Subaru Performance Specialists - Upgrades and Subaru Servicing) for those who prefer road mapping or at Surrey Rolling Road (Surrey Rolling Road) for those who prefer the comfort of a dyno. Of course there is flexibility in this.
Costs (discount ) to be confirmed by the man himself, although I am absolutely positive he will make it worth our while

Please register interest, including a preference for date and venue as well as stating what car you have and what ECU.

1) Peanuts, MY99, PowerFC, S4U not bothered about date.

Simtek is not available for 06.. I would recommend an EcuTek remap for your 06 sti.

PM or email if you want more info or to discuss further etc

Thanks

Could be interested in this, I have an ECU with an open Ecutek licence on it (not fitted) would this be usable / cheaper ? Car is an my53 STI with PPP.

not fussed where it is, or date, would go with the flow.

Cheers

I'm interested though the group buy saving may be eaten into a little by the drive over from Maidstone area.

I would like a Simtek for my MY00 UK Turbo 2000.

Simon - I think I need to make contact with you regarding what I would like to achieve and what else I need to do in the meantime (nothing too exciting I'm afraid).

maybe Simon could map your car in the morning before he sets off over this way?
If he is staying in Kent the night before.

Yes no problem. Assuming the ecu is also an Sti ecu.
I would need to reprogramme the keys (bring both) which I don't charge for anyway.

It is normally £300+VAT rather than £550+VAT as you have the ecutek licence already, actual price will depend on numbers, but probably 10% off.

Thanks
Simon

Cool, its an ECU out of a 53 STI, so on that basis count me in

@rse, about a month too early, if this slips to mid-January I'm in, but I'm out of the country until the end of December and need to get some bit squared first

i am not out yet. if the man says no simtek available, than no simtek available. i am not sure about the ecutek though haven't heard great reviews about it. what was the other one called? solonis or something. if i can afford it i would like to have that as i am building a 2.1 cdb to go with a gt35/82r, but this is a project to be finished in a couple of years i beleive (money doesn't grow on the trees unfortunatly). so it would be wise to invest in a capable ecu now, other wise i will stick with my ppp ecu and get that mapped for now. do you map ppp ecus simon? i don't have an open licence on it like rik tee has though.
cheers

Simtek not yet avail for drive by wire cars.
Ecutek is what your ppp was mapped with and works very well for most.
However with that size turbo then agree you will need after market and solaris would work very well.

Around the £1700+VAT - discount which is likely to be 10~15% I would need to allocate time to make a loom adaptor or get one made.

Thanks
Simon
