New age gauge pod
Considering the numbers of people that have got thier names down for the pro sport gauges how many people are planning on mounting them on the dash in a newage? I am thinking getting one of the scoobyparts pod that was mentioned on page three, if there are enough of us planning the same would it be worth contacting scoobyparts to see if they will do a groupbuy for us?
It's this pod that I'm on about Scoobyparts Ltd ATI 3-GAUGE POD - NEW AGE
If you are interested put your name down and I'll contact scoobyparts to see what they can do.

I'm in, but i'd rather have the pod that allows for the clock to still be seen....
Also, tis a bit shocking that the pod for the gauges is gonna cost more than the gauges themselves

Scoobyparts will do a discount making the pod £125 delivered. OK it's not a massive discount but a saving of £8 is better than nothing. They require a minimum of 5 people to confirm for this price.

hey not did not mean to sound like i was knocking it as £8 is still £8 but for a GB i woud of hoped they woiuld of knocked £20 or so off. might be worth asking if you get more than 5 in for it what they can do.

I have the Zerosport Pod in my Impreza and it does allow the retention of the digital clock, I haven't any pictures to hand but I can sort some out if anyone wants to see it in the 'flesh'.

I had the ATI pod in my previous car a Hawkeye WRX and the Zerosport pod is fitted in my S202, it does sit higher than the ATI pod but after the ATI pod was fitted I really did miss the digital clock.

I havent had that panel off yet to see the clock, but was thinking (I've an 05 STi), it could be mounted in the middle console section below the heater controls if its portable enough. Could be talking complete ***** without seeing it of course.

Not sure if the dash loom could be pulled enough in order to relocate to the middle console but you might be able to lengthen the loom on either the clock or the dash loom to allow you to relocate.

It might be possible but the clock only has a very short loom connected to it which then appears to connect into the main dash wiring loom.

What method do you use to get the centre console and this ^^^^ top bit (where the clock sits) off so that its possible to get at the back of the engine bulkhead (to run the cabling/hosing for the gauges) and mount the pod?
I've seen the guide for the classic scoob but it has a different cockpit/dashboard layout to my newage and I don't want to start attacking my dashboard with a screw driver without at least some kind of guidance on where to poke.

The clock pod unclips from the front ( you can see the clips under the white plug) I run the cables through a large empty grommet above the pedals and up the left and side of the steering column (when sitting in the seat facing forwards).
I only needed to remove the top pod to fit the gauges.
