Thanks

Exedy Uprated Organic Clutch Kit - 230mm 5 speed

Uprated Organic clutch kit inc release bearing. Uprated organic clutch plate and uprated clutch cover with 44% increase in clamp load.

Ideal for cars running 300-400bhp, for fast road use and track/drag.

Feels just like an OE clutch (better IMHO) and can handle lots of abuse

Retails at some places : £430+

Flywheel: "The standard Subaru flywheel weighs around 11kgs as standard our racing lightened flywheels weighing in at just 5.75kg help improve throttle response, and have better heat dissipation than the standard item.

Made from high quality billet chromoly steel, it is far stronger as well as lighter than the standard flywheel."

I have used this clutch at c.380bhp for nearly 3 years now, and that includes over 3 dozen drag launches at 6k rpm, numerous track days and a trip to the ring.
Never skipped a heartbeat, its a true fit and forget at this power level.

I also fitted the flywheel, it takes a little getting used to at first as the bite point can be a little savage, but it certainly makes the car seem to rev a lot freer and the response seems noticably quicker with it, again, another fit and forget item.
it cost me more than £505 delivered for both items though, even 3 years ago

I have always used Exedy and also found it to be a fab clutch

Mine put up with me doing 50+ full bore drag launches in just one weekend and 100s in total

Hi Bob I'm interested in this.
Is the clutch a higher spec than the OE STI item or is this what clutch it is?
Running around 300bhp at the moment, but clutch is pretty worn and flywheel scored/cracked so up for an upgrade, will be getting a power hike to around 370 in the near future.

Clutch is an uprated item with a higher clamping load and uprated disc plate which will be ideal for your power levels. Still retains a nice OE feel.

Probably the most popular clutch for modified scoobs

It has been suggested to me that this group buy was being done in conjunction with Zen Performance, I would just like to clarify this is not the case.

Bob,

Can you please remove the text lifted (without permission) from our website used to describe the clutch. And write something of your own to promote your group buy, perhaps ask the actual supplier.
