Default Detailing group buy?

Hey all,

Would any of you be interested in a group buy for getting your car detailed? Around 20% discount I think. Just looking to gauge interest, then I can get everything else finalised.

Here is an mail I got from Matt:

Hi Kosta,

I can offer Paint correction at 2 levels with level 1 usually completed within a day (10 hours or so) this will reduce the swirling by around 80% +
The cost for this work including products is Usually £250 - £300 max

Level 2 Is the highest level and takes the correction level to 95%+
This work including the full detail is carried out over a 2 Day period and can add between £100 and £200 to the price. I have detailed many subarus and know that great results can be obtained over 1 day.

I am a licensed Zymol detailer and use what I believe to be the finest products available. The car will be finished usually with Zymol concours (£160 per pot)

For a small premium I am able to finish with Zymol Royale (£7188.00 per pot)

The prices quoted are for the full treatment including waxing and all finishing. It would only be extra if you wanted Royale.
I'd be surprised if you needed stage 2 - Subaru paint tends to correct well however I always quote for all possibilities so there are no surprises.

Following the work, your car will not only look amazing being rid of the unsightly swirling, it will be protected and enhanced by the best products, it will be easier to clean and look great after every wash. In addition to this I feel also the money spent will be recovered when you come to sell - people buy with their eyes and a stunning car will always command a premium.

As for group Buys then I can offer between 10 - 20% discount depending on numbers

I'd definitely go for this, but I'm on the south coast - which probably counts me out.

Well he normally does them in a place in liverpool. So if the travelling is your deciding factor that's where he is

What I think we want to know is whether he is willing to come to us to do the detailing and if he is then how much extra will he charge.

Hi Guys

Many thanks for the patience - Ive been a little pre-occupied this last week. Had a family bereavement and today was the funeral.

Anyways, I think that i had better post up some 'details' of how the group buy can run and try to answer as many questions as possible

Firstly If we are basing the GB in the NW then the best thing to do is to run it from our detailng centre in bootle, liverpool. Its a large well equipped unit and is perfectly set up for detailing.

I'm thinking if enough people can sign up then we can arrange a block booking doing one each day or something? We have Xbox 360, wireless internet access if anyone fancies working from the centre. Alternatively the car can be dropped off the prior evening and collected thereafter.

For the people who are outside of the NW then I can travel, however I need a place under cover to work. I do carry an ez up gazebo type, but to be honest its not really the best thing to be working under a tent and IMHO not too professional either, however It can be done if needs must.

I do think for the sake of continuity and results that the best option is the centre.

As A zymol Licensed detailer I use Zymol products, however I can use something else if you wish to provide me your current fave wax/glaze.

Details can be straight forward or awkward, depending on paint quality, age and condition. I think for the purpose of the GB the work will be confined to 1 day 8-12 hours work. With this time correction success is 85% upwards so a very good near perfect standard can be acheived in this timeframe. The GB for my good friends in south wales were all done over 1 day and good results were acheived.

So the next thing is for people to post up and show how many we are talking about - more takers more discount.

Many Thanks

matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for taking the time to post. Sorry to hear about your bereavement, I hope you're holding up ok.
Hopefully this information will tell people what they want to know, and we can get cracking !

Best Regards,

Kosta
