this is danny's reply to a few questions

we dont do specific Subaru senders, but universal ones.

If we can get 5, they will get 5% off the total.

I'd be interested but I'd want to know the total cost for the gauges and all relevant sensors, senders, pipes, switches, etc to get them operational. Also would these fit into a defi-style classic or new age centre pod?

Off ebay you can get the adapters for the oil pressure and oil temp senders to go in. Assuming with this kit you get all the senders and wiring. One question though. Is it an electrical boost gauge rather than mechanical?

And if they are all three of them 270 degree stepper gauges with high and low warning lights, then that is a stunning price btw. What colours are they during the day and at night? Looks like black with white lettering in the day, what colour do they light up at night. Just cos that video of the opening ceremony is a bit too lairy for my liking - I wouldn't have that much illumination on a Christmas tree let alone in my car LOL

But I'm in as long as your man takes Paypal.

off his site:

1. An internal microprocessor controls the needle movement through a digital stepper motor (Swiss made). The high torque of the stepper motor ensures accurate pointer movement without vibration in all conditions, reducing margin of error to <3%.

2. Electronic gauges throughout the whole gauge range, easing installation

3. The gauge illumination can be toggled between Super White and Amber Red

4. High quality smoked lens complete with gun-metal coloured bezel complete the look

5. Automatic opening ceremony when the gauges are powered up

6. “Peak” recall function available, showing the maximum values (Image 1)

7. “Warning” alarm function available, fully programmable by the user (Image 1)

8. Gauge wires can be serially connected to each other (like Defi gauges)

9. Super-slim gauge housing, measuring only 25mm in length (Image 2)

10. Packed with accessories (DEFI-STYLE GAUGE CUP, GAUGE SHADE, senders, hosings, wirings and instruction manual) (Image 3)

BOOST GAUGE

- 2" Boost Gauge with smoked gauge face

- 30 PSI or 2 BAR Max Reading

- Supercharged or Turbocharged?? Watch the RPM boost!

- Gauge also comes with the vacuum portion that measures the negative vacuum in the manifold, when the car is not on boost. YOU GET TWO MEASUREMENT FEATURES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!!

- Electrical Boost Gauge kit includes required a boost sensor and hosing for accurate measurement of the actual boost level. No Mechanical hosing is required to measure, making installation and maintenance a breeze.

- Includes electrical senders and 1/8" and 1/4" NPT Adaptors

- Gauge Self-Check Feature during start-up (Opening Ceremony)

OIL PRESSURE GAUGE

- If your vehicle is not equipped with a factory oil temperature gauge, don't leave the Prosport Oil Temperature gauge out of your gauge cluster, as it helps us to keep an eye on the engine's heartbeat. The use of an oil pressure gauge is crucial in any form of racing. A noticeable drop in oil pressure could be an early warning of serious engine problems, preventing unnecessary engine wear or in the worst cases, permanent engine damage and sky-high repair bills.

- For fittings, this Electrical Oil Pressure Gauge kit includes electrical sender with 1/8" and 1/4" NPT Adaptor.

- Gauge Self-Check Feature during start-up (Opening Ceremony)

OIL TEMPERATURE GAUGE

- If your vehicle is not equipped with a factory oil temp gauge, don't leave the Autogauge Oil Temp gauge out of your gauge cluster, as it allows us to monitor the present temperature. This ensures the engine oil is hot enough to be both viscous and effective, with the oil being in the proper temperature range to run full throttle in extreme situations.

- For fittings, this Electrical Oil Temperature Gauge kit includes electrical sender with 1/8" and 1/4" NPT Adaptor.

- Gauge Self-Check Feature during start-up (Opening Ceremony)

hope this helps

Don't use a sandwhich plate. Get the proper oil temp takeoff to fit in the area just above Cyl 3. As for the pressure you can get a sender which allows you to keep the OE pressure sensor and add a gauge as well I believe.

I think we need to do a bit of research on sourcing the senders before ordering.
I agree they did look a bit bright on the vid. Could do with finding out just what they are like at night, but thats a good price and I'll be interested if we can do a bit more homework between us

Also for my fitting I need to know the size of the full face including the bezel. I'm fitting in an official subaru newage top pod which is single DIN and quite tight. Max bezel diameter 58mm. seen here (pics are clickies)

heres ome more info

all these gauges are electronic and require 1 power cable to connect the gauges serially.

There is an option to turn your gauge to amber in colour when you turn on your car lights (which is less bright as compared to the white readings).

These gauges come with all the senders and wirings required.

MisterAdam
I believe you can get the colour gauges you're wanting. Not sure if these are the same type of Prosport gauges this group buy is offering.

Jake you had PM yesterday.
