Default TSL ThunderCat DownPipe GroupBy

Hi Guys,

I have spoken to TSL MOTORSPORT, who have agreed to offer a Groupby for the TSL THUNDERCAT DOWNPIPE.

This product is available for: All Imprezas WRX, STi (93-06)

This Downpipe has two main benifits:
  1. You will pass the MOT without the hassle of worring about passing the Emmisions
  2. You will not need to purchase a DE-CAT 2nd CAT Pipe, as this will replace it and join the centre seciton
Note:
You will require a Classic Centre Section for this to be able to fit even to the new age. This is due to the design of the Downpipe.

Any questions, you can either post here, or contact TSL MOTORSPORT

Normal RRP for the Thundercat Downpipe: £395 inc VAT
Normal RRP for the Centre Section: £116 inc VAT

Minimum of 5 orders required and the prices will be as follows:

Groupby Price for the Thundercat Downpipe: £375 inc VAT
Groupby Price for the Centre Section: £89 inc VAT

Collectively we can save £235 on 5 orders, not much of a saving but better then nothing. Centre section must be bought with the downpipe

I have not been given a cost on 10 orders, but once we have a list of people here i can see if more of a discount is avaliable...

I will update the 1st post with the potential buyers.
  1. SamUK - Downpipe + Centre Section @ £464

Are you saying that we have to buy a centre section as well as the thundercat so it can be fitted? How much is the centre section?

I am assuming that you will be changing your complete exhaust...IE there is no point of buying a Downpipe unless you are changing your center section and backbox...

You will also require a remap after changing the downpipe.

This groupby is aimed towards the sports downpipe only rather then the normal downpipes you buy (which will not pass an MOT).

So for the new age, you are required to buy a Classic Centre section which usually cost £100, i can talk prices for when there is some form of intrest....

I'm interested if you can get prices for the centre section, I already have a Ninja back box.

Thanks for trying mate - but as always TSL offer a lousy £20 off their product ... not really a deal is it. To not even offer 10% is a bit of a joke...

Ive been there on one of their "make me an offer" days.... i did and asked for a deal but they werent interested in bargaining....

Count me out - but thanks for trying.

Andy,

The Scoobyworld Downpipe is for the Classic shape only..though very new...

Also i think this discount provided by TSL is little poor.... but after a chat with Graham @ TSL, i think its fair for the quality of build and for what is involved in its making. Though from memory you will not find a pipe with the cat in for this amount...H&S make one though it is more expensive....Also this does replace the 2nd CAT pipe, hence you will save money in buying a pipe...

TSL have been around for a while and this is the Downpipe used for the 333 Conversion and there have not been any complaints...

Eitherway, i will be looking to buy one hopefully towards middle / end of next month...The discount is really here or there...

Does this thing mean I can replace my Magnex decat downpipe (on an STi version 6) with a Thundercat and not need to get another remap?

James, i have no idea...maybe worth checking this with TSL...though why would you want to pay that much more when there would not be more more to gain?

You would be better off going for the Scoobyworld Downpipe...as it is cheaper...unless there is a good reason you ned this particular one...
