Default Classic reverse bonnet vent.

Might have the opportunity to start a group buy on these. They fit a facelift classic bonnet.
They come delivered in primer ready for paint.

Price would be £110 delivered but I may be able to get that a little lower depending on numbers.

Here's what they look like.

Any chance of enquiring about extra charge to come painted please?

I presume these are the ABW ones?

No buddy these aren't from ABW.

I don't think 'painted' will be an option unfortunately chap.
Leave it with me and ill see if I can sort something out price wise with just a few purchased.

PayPal accepted?
What was the fit like on your old car?
Can they be returned if there are any issues?

Sorry to sound like a moaner and good work setting it up!

I agree with above, this isnt something that is going to take months to get our bits is it? Im happy to buy one BUT I dont want to be waiting around months for the bits, I dont usually get involved with stuff like this for preciseley that reason tbh!

I hear what you're saying chaps, and i'd be just as concerned.

They are being made by the same chap who made the one on my white car. I was very happy with the fit and quality of that one and have no reason to be concerned.

They are a "made to order" item, by that I mean he doesn't keep them on the shelf as such. So there is a short wait while he makes them, he assures me they will take no longer than a week to produce. This from memory was the same timescale for the last one I had.

I shall put all the other questions to him today regarding material and payment etc etc and update the thread when I've heard back.

Got some more info about these.

They are made from GRP and paypal is perfectly fine.
If for any reason someone wasn't happy he'd sort it. He does hand make each one and test fit it to a bonnet so can't see there being any problems to he honest.

Thanks for the update Matty.

Anyone recommend a sprayer Surrey / Heathrow area. I'm wanting mine in the same colour as my aero catches. Might look awful but in for a penny etc

Are your catches the normal mat black colour ??
If so just paint the vent yourself, it's very easy and even a novice painter can make a mat colour look good

The chap is making a couple up this week to see if he can knock a little time off the production, he will be able to give me a better idea of price then guys.
I'd just like some definates so I can go back and say yes, we want X amount of vents please.

What's funny is that I don't even have a car that the vent will fit but im still having one....lol....
No doubt I'll want one in the future so I'd rather get one now and store it than need one in the future and not be able to get one

That's enough names for now guys. Dave is going to get 4 vents finished and sent out and then go from there. He has 2 made up ready for trimming and hopes he'll have all 4 done and ready for post towards the end of next week.

If you want to start a list for the next lot then that's cool, or even a reserve list should any of the above drop out.

Matty, would you be able to enquire if your mate could also make the additional vent that was in the gobstopper bonnet, pic below.

Yes I'm sure he does those, £50 delivered I think.

Once I've heard back from him this week regarding the reverse vent i'll ask him about the other vents.
I think the first 4 reverse vents will be ready for dispatch this week so I'll PM you fellas with payment info as soon as I know.
