MY99 UK Turbo Code 22 After Clutch Change?
Hi guys,
I've been busy this weekend fitting my new Excedy clutch to my UK Turbo Wagon.
Now its all back together the clutch and gear change are now silky smooth.
But after cranking her up the first time after clutch change I now have the dreaded "Check Engine" light on, so I read the codes and its flashing code 22 "Knock Sensor"?
Has anybody had this before? what's confusing me is that there was absolutely no issues before I fitted the new clutch?
Thanks in advance, Luke.

knock sensor is located just below throttle body on passenger side. you can take it off, clean it up & refit to the correct torque
also, if the car has been lying sometimes damp can get into the knock sensors as they have a tendency to crack over time. drive the car as normal, and see does the cel go off. if it does then its damp getting into it.

As you say the CEL does come on and off when driving.
Thanks for your quick reply.
