Default MORE POWAHHH!!

Hi guys,

Got a v2 sti, totally standard
Was rr at 260.5 bhp which yes is quite healthy for its age, but I would like a little more

I'm not after all the horses in the old west but a healthy 300bhp would be nice
What can I upgrade to squeeze just another 40 bhp out of the motor ?

Thanks

Sorry to be a pain, but a little in depth detail as to what to do to them, this is my first impreza and the car I have thought of modifying and it's all so confusing !
Thanks
And sorry for being so thick!

Not worth the money mate. An extra 40 bhp will cost you around a grand.

Decat down pipe - £50-£100
Exhaust - £80-£250
Uprated panel Filter/induction - £30-£100
440s - £50-£100
Fuel pump - £60 - £100
Intercooler - £80 - £250
Remap - £400 +

What if I were to do the front entry conversion, what sort of gains would I see then ? Also just found a receipt from engine tuner for a sport cat supplied and fitted, so that's a start, is the original back box restricting ? And is it a 2.5" system standard , is it worth looking for a 3" or larger ? Thanks for your patience
