exhaust blowing
Exhaust started blowing, the custom built rear/final section is fine but this connects to the er? Center section?
I've only got one cat which is in the down pipe. It looks as if the flange on the centre section has sheered off due to rust.
Sorry about the poor terminology. It's a jdm version 6 sti classic. I'd quite like to replace this broken part with stainless steel but I'm hoping I dont need to replace the downpipe and cat.
Any recommendations on this? Was thinking eBay or getting a custom built part. It's only a short pipe so I can't imagine it being too costly.

Anyone? All I can see on eBay are decat pipes, when I type center section, which I'm not really after.
I'm thinking about just going to get one made but would be pointless if there's a good suggestion on where to get a pre-built one.

I'll take another look. I thought there was another section before the downpipe but of not then I'll probably go for a stainless downpipe. Are they a bugger to fit? Is it worth going for a sports cat too? Primarily a road car so I don't want to void insurance by taking at the cat.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Ok, so I've taken some pictures as I am confusing myself now
and
For some reason, it's showing the top image as upside down but anyway the part with the heat shield is what I believe goes to the down pipe or is the down pipe. You can see just at the edge where it is dark that it has sheered away from the flange. The other side goes straight out to the exit of the vehicle as a single custom built part.
I'd really like to know what part I can replace. Could I buy something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAPSPEED-S...item257668d593
and just replace it?
