Default Front Break Creaking

Hi

Just noticed today that I get very noticable creaking from the front breaks when the car is still/slow.

When I pump the pedal i can hear the creaking and it does not sound like the break calliper area.

Its a Hatch by the way 2008.

Car stops no problems so don't think it's anything serious, has red stuff pads from the looks of it.

Anyone experienced this or have any ideas?

It will be dust on the pistons , or dust on the sides of the pistons , remove the pads and clean everything off , check the outer dust seals are not torn , if they are dust can get into the calipers and cause creaking.
If all seals are ok , then it will probably be dust between the pistons and pads , clean it all of and put some copper slip between the pads , shims and pads

Cheers Ian

Sounds painful for a man with skill like a fish with cars. It's about due rear break pads I'm guessing I could pay the garage to strip them and clean?
