Hi guys,

Just bought some stuff from Opie Oils, do the oil filters- standard subaru blue ones- include washer?

In addition, I have ordered the blue subaru filter. I have read that a few years ago there were issues with this filter. Have these issues now been resolved and it is safe to use on an STI?

Hopefully Opie Oils person can come along and clarify

no idea your about trader but the filters dont come as std with a sump washer........

we include them FOC with our orders for future ref.

as for BLUE filters, there have been some specific issues but in general they are fine to use, we also stock/supply the more traditional BLACK version also

Thanks for that Alyn.

We don't include washers, although we are looking to add them to the site soon.

We've not had any problems with the blue filters and did not have any of the affected batch numbers.
