Righ, I'm just pricing up a forged build for the EJ25 in my GB270. The plan would be to buy the bits over a series of months then take a week off work and build it. I just wanna check, have I missed anything off the shopping list?

So far I have: engine health check, pistons, rods, bearings, head gasket, head studs, cylinder boring/honing (if necessary).

Anything else?

 

Sti blocks, new water pump oil pump, you gettin it built or diy?

 

crank seals and possibly oil modine if the original engine failed?

 

Give me a shout for parts, I can do a great deal on rods and pistons.
