The code is on the very back page of the security system booklet (assuming it's still got the original code) in the drivers handbook. There are also instructions on how to change the code, just be sure to change the code in the back of the book so future owners will know what it is! Personally I plan on ripping my standard alarm/immobiliser out and fitting an aftermarket one.

I don't have the security book for the car only owners manual and 1 key witch is why I have to be able to change the code as for aftermarket alarm I will put one in but not affordable option at the moment

Hmm you're a bit snookered then mate. I'd see about getting something like a Toad AI606 or Clifford fitted instead. I've only one key for mine too and last week I thought it was knackered as it wasn't unlocking and disarming the immobiliser new battery seemed to sort it but the range is still shockingly short, have to practically stand at the car door to open it!

My solution is fit a new alarm/immobiliser and get 2 new keys cut. The added bonus is you'll be rid of that monstrosity of a key!!

I would've thought you'd need to know the existing pin in order to change the pin, otherwise anybody could put whatever pin they liked in to deactivate the immobiliser...

(edit) just read that other thread, 30 seconds isn't much time to change it really, especially as the keypad is pretty fiddly! I've hands like shovels though lol

Been recommended on here before, use a pencil with a rubber on the end and use rubber end to press the buttons.
