Hey guys I have a my09sti and the intercooler had quite a few bent fins when I got it, I have managed to straighten them up, to save it happening again I have been looking into a cover, my question is would this affect the intercooler from doing it's job in anyway?

Oem top mount? Fitting a grill with help reduce bent fins, won't effect the cooling ability

 

Yea oem, ok I've seen one on eBay that's designed for the specific intercooler

 

You have evidence of this?
Or is it, "In your opinion"?
