Default Overboost and knock

Hi guys, just driving home from work and when i took a look at my PowerFC's Commander i noticed my knock reading had hit 82! Took it steady for the rest of the drive but i hadnt realy given it any hard acceleration during the drive to be honest. When i pulled up i had a better look and noticed the boost had hit 1.58 which i believe is in BAR. The car was mapped by JGM/Simon to 1.3Bar on the standard 2port boost solenoid in Nov so im guessing the over boost is causing the knock??

I only whent over 4k revs once during the entire journey during an overtake and even then only hit 5.5k max, probably only 5k. I could understand if i had been launching it in 1st and 2nd and redlining that the knock may have been a bit high but this has me worried.

Does anyone know what could be going on?

Details of car are as follows:
97UK Turbo 2000
TD04 16G
Nismo 550cc Injectors
Walbro 250lph
Apexi PowerFC (Mapped by Jolly Green Monster)
Uprated boost pipes.

Any and all help greatly appreciated!

check the pipes on the actuator, compressor cover, boost solenoid are all connected and check for splits.

That's a considerable jump in boost I suspect a leak, also worth checking the restrictor pill hasn't got gunge lodged in it also.

lol

from memory the standard boost solenoid and set up wouldnt allow more than 1.3bar which is why I suspect something has come off or blocked etc.

You will be happy to know you are absolutely right! Haha, couldnt resist going out in the rain and having a quick look, only had a small torch but instantly noticed some of the pipework had popped off! Small pipe sticking up leading to nowhere and a T-Piece hiding under neath some other pipework where it should be connected!

Wouldnt have known where to even begin looking if you hadnt suggested it though Simon so once again thank you!
