Default What's going on!?!?!

Right, just had the engine changed on the 2002 bug eye WRX! Done around 500 miles, I've let her boost a little before now and all seemed okay, yesterday coming back from a mates house I put my foot down only to about 5500rpm seemed to bog down a little bit, so I tried again and it would hardly even accelerate... engine sounds good and turbo seems to be spooling up but it feel like something is restricting it or making it bog down... engine seems on when rev'd in Neutral...

what could this be?

Thanks

Not an expert at all but has it had a running in map that might be holding it back?
